Online Services

GP online services allow you to access a range of services via your computer, mobile or tablet. There are 2 ways to access these and both require you sign up.

Online Services - linked directly to your clinical record. Once you have signed up, you will be able to:

  • book or cancel appointments online
  • renew or order repeat prescriptions online
  • view parts of your GP record, including information about medication, allergies, vaccinations, previous illnesses and test results

You can still contact the practice by phone or in person, this is just another option, which other patients have found is more convenient and saves them time. More information including “how to” leaflets and videos of patients and why they are using GP online services are available at www.nhs.uk/gponlineservices

GP Online Services

You can sign up to GP Online Services (hosted by Engage Consult software) by clicking on the picture below.

If you use Engage Consult then it’ll help us to get you the care you need at the earliest opportunity. This is because when you use the system you provide a lot of information about your problem which our clinical staff can use to decide on the best course of action. This might result in you being seen by someone that has earlier appointments available, or we might be able to advise you over the phone without you needing to visit the practice.

The system can be used for admin enquiries as well. Patients can ask when their repeat prescription will be ready or ask for a doctor’s letter or sick note.

It typically takes a patient 5 – 10 minutes to complete a questionnaire. Most questionnaires can be completed in 5 – 10 minutes, complex problems, or multiple problems, may take longer.

Once you have submitted your enquiry, we may contact you to confirm your identity. It is important we have up to date contact details for you.
